Here’s our chance to pack a ton of food—an actual ton of food. The food we pack goes to nursing mothers, senior citizens, and young children.
Sign up to pack food at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. The boxes we pack that day go to low-income seniors and families, including the following:
- Adults age 60 or older
- Pregnant women
- Mothers up to a year after giving birth
- Breastfeeding mothers
- Infants and children up to age 6
Be sure to sign up so we know how many people are coming.
- It takes about 25 minutes to get here
- Plan to be there 10 minutes before the start of the session
- Wear close toed shoes (no sandals / flip flops)
- Bring a sweatshirt or a light jacket
- Children 11 years and older can help out with their parents
- We recommend long pants
- Let us know if you want to carpool

- I-80 east to exit 32 (USA Parkway Exit)
- Proceed 2.5 miles to Italy Drive.
- Turn left on to Italy Drive
- Proceed approx. .3 miles to the building. They’re the only building on Italy Drive.
